hi, just wondering if you have tried your local churces , as for cable bill i am not sure of your situation, but cutting out cable for a while untill your in a better situation might be something to consider , as fun as it is to watch there are free channels and it might help you make ends meet elsewear ...
in response to Dj sha...Thank you very much, and I highly appreciate you taking the time to respond I was seeking help with resourses , i was recently fired because the motor in my car blew and i was unable to get it fixed or find a mechanoc who would work with me I was short almost 200 on my bills but was able to junk the car this morning and sending in my payments in the morning, I have another job offer that pays a lot more with benefits so i am seeking resourses or helpwith transportation i am not located near a bus line and have found a local car dealer willing to work with me on something cheap with an affordavle payment but i need to come up with 400 more for the downpayment. i am definatley going to check into the site you refered me to
update , i was able to junk car so i will be able to send in my morgage , very thankful, now i will be right under 400 short on downpayment if anyone knows where i can find help or if anyone has any advice please share , i know things are starting to look up i have untill tuesday to accept job and am praying i find a way
in response to haveaheart...I am unsure where you are located but there should be family health centers in your area who go by your income , i dont have insurance and have health issues, i only pay one dollar per visit and 1 dollar for my meds if you cant find any please do share your location and i will see if i can find some close to you
there is a site called freecycle where people give away things they no longer need , if you have a way to pick the stuff up and repond to them when they post you might be able to find some clothes for her there , probably worth a shot ... hope it helps
update, the kids are doing well and adjusting to there new life here, i wasnt able to find help with a mechanic so i was fired but am hopeful and not giving up, i have another job offer that pays literally almost double what i was making on the hour with benefits , i am not located anywhere near a bus line and have found a local car dealer who is willing to work with me on something cheap witha payment of 100-130 a month which with the job if im able to get it i would be able to provide for myself and kids comfortably , i am in need of help finding a way to get 500 down which includes taxes and tags, i have tried every resource i know of i have all of our bill money except almost 200 if anyone knows of where i can find help please share
in response to laflaka...I am really sorry about your situation and i cant offer much help but i was wondering if you or your father have checked into senior housing for him, I am unsure where you are located but if you like I can try to look some places up for you, i know here in ky they have apartments and housing for senipurs and they usually go by there income hope it helps
I hope everyone is making it threw , things sometime seem like there going to get worse before they get better but hang in there and keep working hard to change things and hopefully good will come... I cant offer help as things are a bit rough at the moment but i am here if anyone needs to talk, keep your heads up and dont dwell on things we cant change things can get better you just cant ever give up.
I guess if you still want to help follow your heart, if you have a feeling someone isnt being honest move on and find someone else .. probably not much help , there are a lot of good people here and I hope you find them

update . still desperatly seeking help finding a mechanic who can replace my motor on payments , i have 8 days left to have my car situation fixed or i wont have a job , im already 170 short on house payment because of being off work im afraid if i dont figure things out i will lose my house and wont be able to care for myself or kids please help
update , still trying to find a mechanic in ky who accepts payments for replacing engine, i live 30 minutes from my job and cant return to work untill i get transportation, im afraid i wont be able to make my bills if i dont figure something out soon

update on myself and the kids situation , I am so thankful to of found this site and to of met some amazing people, sometimes knowing theres people to talk to really helps in itself , the kids are doing good and adjusting to things pretty well things are hard but i never expected for them to be easy, I am wondering if anyone is located in lou ky area who possibly knows of any mechanics who accept payments , i am in a bit of a bind and only have 11 days to have my car fixed which needs a new motor, or another form of transportation or i lose my job which i definatley cant afford to lose , i cant pay upfront because i bring home only 167 a week ... i have called several and have only found one to consider it , if anyone knows of any i be grateful for the information

Just wanted to say , I am come to this site desperatly seeking help for my nieces and nephew for christmas, there are angels out there and you know who you are , I will truly always be grateful, and for anyone still seeking help, dont five up keep trying, stay positive and dont lose hope, I hope next year I will be able to help some familys, the people here are amazing and there are people who truly care , and I hope everything gets the help they need and has a very happy holiday

Everything has happend so fast i really wasnt prepaired but i cant change it , i didnt know i would be granted custody , am gonna keep doing the best i can do and pray for the best , giving up wont help , i have to stay positive and do the best i can , i hope they have something to open on christmas i hope someone finds us soon
